| This rugged guitar amplifier features a single input with two separate channels. The normal 'clean' channel has treble, mid, bass and level controls. The overdrive 'boost' channel has a gain control to set the amount of compression and distortion, 'shape' and 'presence' controls to adjust the tonal quality of the overdrive circuit and a level control. The input can be switched between either channel via a front panel switch or via an (optional) footswitch plugged into the footswitch socket. This allows two distinct sounds to be set up on the amplifier, say for rhythm and lead, and switched between during live performance. This amplifer also has a built-in spring-line reverb with a front panel control to adjust the amount of reverb added to the sound. The amplifier also has a headphone socket that disconnects the built-in 10 speaker when used for private practice. The signal can also be taken to an external speaker or a line input on a mixer, for instance, from front panel sockets. |
